Long Jiao

Biography

Long Jiao got his Ph.D. from Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at George Mason University (GMU)
in May 2023. He earned his M.S. in electrical and computer engineering at George Mason University, and
a B.S. in information security from Xidian University, China. He has broad interests in cybersecurity and wireless networking
with emphasis on physical layer security, cyber physical systems/IoT security, spectrum sharing security, and machine learning
application in wireless security. His research has been supported by NSF, DARPA, ARO, and Virginia
Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI). In his Ph.D. study, he has published 20+ papers in prestigious
journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE Wireless Communications,
IEEE Network, IEEE INFOCOM, and IEEE CNS. He served as teaching assistant in one undergraduate-level cybersecurity
course and guest lecturer in one graduate-level cybersecurity course.
