On its way east from the source the river
passes through several narrow gorges before it makes
a sharp turn to the north. The top picture shows
the Laxiwa Gorge, the middle Yehu (Wide Wolf)
Gorge, and the next gorge in line,
the Longyang (Dragon-and-Goat) Gorge.

The Longyang Gorge site is turned into a
hydropower complex.
The picture above, I believe, is downstream from the
Longyang Gorge dam.
