This is the plan for the Shilichangchuan project Ê®Àﳤ´¨ showing just the northern portion of it, which lies in Inner Mongolia. The patches along the main gully are irrigated sites on the gully floor, which are protected by low warping dams, indicated by red dots.

The southern portion belongs to northern Shaanxi, where Shilichangchuan drains into Huangfuchuan River »Ê¸¦´¨, which flows south passing by Shenmu Éñľ and emptying into Yellow River at a point about 110 km from the Inner Mongolia-Shaanxi border.
