The slopes of Binxian are being improved upon. They are terraced for either farming or planting of trees. In early spring, some terrace plots are covered with a layer of winter wheat shoots (green color) or rapeseed flowers (yellow color). It is also time that the beekeepers are bringing their bees to this part of the country following their annual migratory route as the flowers of several shrubs and trees are starting to bloom. At the foot of the hills there are also broad valleys whose farms are used for planting wheat as shown by the green plots.
