About Me
I am Priyank Devurkar. I have completed my Thesis in Social Network Analysis and have graduated with a Masters in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

The Research is in the area of Data Mining, particuarly Classification of Social Networks using WEKA machine Learning Algorithms. The main objective of the study is to visualise and build a classification tool (using mysql and java) which is capable of pattern matching social network data (e.g Email Inbox). Previous Projects

Assignment Submission Protocol
Developed a program based Client-Server FTP protocol which is be used by students and Instructors for submitting assignments, posting and viewing grades. The user transfers the Document using the protocol and receives a grade sheet from the professor. Implemented using C on the Unix Platform.

Repair Shop Information System. 
Developed a Model for a Repair Shop System based on the System Requirements Specification and Functionalities Specification provided using Rational Rose. Model described using Use Cases, Class Diagram and Sequence Diagrams. Code available on request.

Pac Man Game Design
Developed a working simulation of the Pac man game particularly identifying an obstacle, automatic and random movement and identifying the end of the game. Implemented Line Drawing Algorithms and A* path finding algorithm in C++.

CD World Web-store Design
Successfully developed a Web store for customers to shop CDs online through which the customers can register, order products from the catalog and pay for the order from various options. Requirements Specifications and Design Specifications were developed using Rational Rose. Implemented using ASP and PostgreSQL Database on IIS server. JavaScript used for form validation. Interests
I like to Program using C, Java and Scripting languages particularly Shell and PERL.
