The workshop will: --Bring together faculty to discuss the impact of Information Technology on their disciplines. --Identify faculty who are interested in participating in an IT task force. --Initiate brainstorming on IT curriculum and course development across different disciplines. --Provide input on utilizing grant funds of $260,000.00 over the next two years (MHE funds are already allocated to UMD). --Learn about the $300,000 + in grants available for IT curriculum and course development.
